Allergies - connection with psychological stress

Have you ever wondered what happened in your life just before the hay fever, asthma or whatever allergy started?

It may be that some unresolved trauma is responsible and the hay fever or asthma is just the body's way of expressing this.

Allergies, hay fever, asthma - an unconscious conditioning?

What if hay fever, asthma, animal hair allergies or other allergies were a misguided, unconscious conditioning of the body? A certain allergen, e.g. flower pollen or animal hair, hits you in a situation where you are psychologically under stress. It is a coincidental encounter. The allergen has nothing to do with the stressful situation. Was there possibly a psychologically stressful situation with your parents in your childhood that hurt you emotionally? Or was there a stressful situation with your partner or in your work environment later on?

Unconsciously, a link is made between the randomly present allergen and the stressful situation. This is the beginning of the allergy.

When we experience an emotional injury from the family as a child, or are unable to deal with it due to a lack of healthy coping strategies, it triggers psychological stress in us and the experience is stored in the body as a cellular memory. We may feel fear, anger, shame, sadness, worthlessness, etc., depending on what happened. If at the time of the emotional injury - or in close temporal relation - there was e.g. pollen in the air or animal hair or other allergens, the allergen will be linked to the psychological stress we are currently in.

Since emotional injuries are stored in our body when we lack coping mechanisms, we unconsciously carry this psychological stress around with us from that point on. And every time the allergen comes into contact with us, we react allergically. Because of the trauma experienced in the accidental presence of the allergen.

Allergies - Support through The Journey® and Emotional Release Therapy

By releasing the repressed emotions and working through the emotional injuries and traumatisation stored in the body, the unconscious conditioning can be dissolved again. The allergen is still there, but no longer encounters the traumatisation that caused the allergy.

Therefore, in the case of allergies, the central question is what happened in your life in the immediate temporal context before the onset of your allergy that may have put a psychological strain on you.
